Regional Sales Manager - Central & South America
Develop new prospects and interact with existing customers and distributors to increase sales and profits of a division of a Fortune 60 company. Be able to sell a complete, “ever-evolving” line of food ingredients with a focus on soy protein products for the processed meat industry. To be considered for this position a candidate should have sales experience in the food industry with a focus on product development in the processed meat industry. The considered candidate must be able to manage a distribution network as well as sales to direct key accounts. The chosen candidate will be able to identify the decision makers at target accounts quickly while continuing to cultivate relationships with all levels of the customer organization. This position requires the ability to research, gather information, identify and develop strategies to increase sales. Candidates must be skilled at questioning, probing and acting in a timely manner during all stages of the sales process. The position will develop and coordinate sales plans for new along with existing accounts. The appointed candidate will be expected to work closely with Customer Service, Technical Services, Credit and Product Management to meet customer needs and business goals. This position requires the ability to have excellent communication, negotiation and closing skills. Accountability and ethics are key traits of this 105 year old company.
